Girifna member Arrested and Beaten
At approximately 2.30 p.m. on March 15, 2010 a member of girifna, A. M., (18 years old) was arrested by two undercover security men who posed as supporters. They called him, then when they were walking together they pulled out pistols and forced him into an office. They proceeded to interrogate him, beat him and threatened him. They then forced him to sign papers saying he would stop doing girifna work and would cooperate with them. A.M. was released by 8:30 p.m. on the same day.
