ترحب قرفنا بكل السودانيين و تدعوهم للأنضمام لحركتها الواعدة بالتغير السلمي . التصويت في اليوم المحدد ليك هو حقك الدستوري و واجبك الوطني. نشرك للمعلومات الصحيحة و المحايدة عن عملية الانتخاب ضمان لمشاركة المواطنين في الانتخابات .

لماذا تثقيف الناخب ؟

هنالك فراغ في المعلومات المتوفرة عن الانتخابات و لا توجد حملات اعلامية لتثقف عدد كبير من السودانيين داخل و خارج السودان

لم تكن هنالك انتخابات في السودان منذ 24 عام و معظم الشعب السوداني الذي تحت سن ال 40 لم يصوت في حياته .

حجم السودان و تنوعه يعني انه ينبغي ان تكون حملات التثقيف موجهة نحو : سكان القرى النائية و المحرومين و المشردين و الاميين من الرحل و المستقريين و الذين لا يتحدثون العربية . و هذا مجهود يحتاج الى وقت و الوقت ضيق جدا .

ومن ثمه انتخابات 2009 في السودان معقدة و غير عادية . و بدون تثقيف الناخبين هنالك مخاطرة ان تعبأ كثير من استمارات الانتخابات بطريقة غير صحيحه و من ثمه تتلف .

كيف تحدث انت التغيير ؟

أعلم ان قرفنا هي حركة للتغير السلمي للسلطة متاحة للجميع و تعتمد على توفير معلومات بالمجان عن العملية الانتخابية .

استخدم علبة المعرفة للحصول على المعلومات التي تريدها لتثقيف نفسك و لنشرها . لا توجد قيود حول نسخ و توزيع المعلومات التي تريدها في هذا الموقع .

كيف تنقل المعلومات لمن حولك ؟ تحدث بطريقة يفهمها غير متحدثي العربية و الاميين . و كن مبدعا : استخدم اللغة البسيطة و الرسوم التوضيحية و الموسيقى و المسرحيات و كل ما يخطر ببالك من وسائل ايضاحية .

لمن يقطنون المدن : استخد التكنولوجيا . و ذلك عبر انضمامك لمجموعة قرفنا في الفيس بوك لتحديث معلوماتك و تطلعنا عن الجديد في منطقتك . ايضا يمكنك استخدام الهاتف النقال لنشر المعلومات.

Whether you are a Sudanese in Sudan or abroad, you have a role to play.

“girifna” welcomes all Sudanese citizens to join its movement for peaceful change. Casting your vote on the day of elections is your constitutional right and your citizenship duty. Sharing neutral and factual information about the electoral process is key to ensuring maximum and informed citizen participation on election day.

In the “tool box” section of this website you will find all the resources and information you need to educate yourself and inform others in your community. Also, as information becomes available to us we will share it with you via this website and our Facebook page.

Why voter education?

• There is a vacuum of knowledge about the elections with no informational campaigns reaching a large portion of the Sudanese population in and outside Sudan.

• Sudan has not had an election in 24 years and most of its population, 40 years and under, has never voted.

• Sudan’s size and its diversity mean that educational campaigns have to cater to groups with different needs such as: isolated, displaced, illiterate, nomadic and non-Arabic speaking populations.This is a time consuming effort and we are running out of time!

• Finally, Sudan’s 2008 election bill is complex. Without voter education there is a risk that a large portion of ballot forms will be filled incorrectly and therefore voided.

How  you can make a change?

•  Know that “girifna” is a movement for peaceful change open to all citizens and based on providing free access to reliable information about the electoral process;
•    Use the resources in the “tool box” section to educate yourself and to share information. There are no restrictions on printing and distributing the material on this website.
•    Do house to house visits in your neighborhood/community to share information by word of mouth, via one-page brochures or pamphlets.
•    Conduct informational activities for your community: be sensitive to illiterate groups and non-Arabic speaking groups. Be creative: use simple language, illustrations, music, theater plays, etc…
•    For those of you in urban centers: use technology. You can do this by joining “girifna” Facebook page to get updates and post updates from your region.  Also, use your cell phones to share information.
